What is wide-body plane?

A wide-body plane, also known as a twin-aisle aircraft, is an airplane designed with two passenger aisles and a larger cross-sectional diameter than narrow-body or single-aisle aircraft. These types of planes have a greater seating capacity and can carry more cargo than narrow-body aircraft. Wide-body planes are typically used for long-haul flights, such as transcontinental or intercontinental flights. Examples of wide-body planes include the Boeing 747, Airbus A380, and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
